How do I transfer inventory between  Rugrats Resale

and Just Kids Resale?


Inventory transfer is a two step process:

STEP 1 - Transfer inventory "out" of the first account (Rugrats Resale)


STEP 2 - Receive Inventory "in" to the second account (Just Kids Resale)





STEP 1:  TRANSFER INVENTORY "OUT"

1. Sign in to your account for the sale you are transferring items OUT of (Rugrats Resale). From the Consignors Homepage choose WORK WITH CONSIGNED INVENTORY, then MOVE INVENTORY OUT.





























You will see a screen similar to this one:















2. From the drop down list, "Choose The Affiliated Sale to Transfer Items To." (There should only be one option here...Just Kids Resale's information.)


3. Enter the consignor # and password of your account here at JUST KIDS RESALE. (Note: For this to work properly, you MUST be using the same consignor number at both sales.)


4. Click on the "CHECK/UNCHECK ALL ITEMS" button.


5. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the submit button. You will see a message like the one in the picture below. Click OK. You will be given a transfer batch number and your inventory will be placed in a holding area waiting to be received.
















STEP 2:  RECEIVE INVENTORY "IN"

1. Login to your Just Kids Resale account from our
website. From the Consignor's Homepage click on WORK WITH CONSIGNED INVENTORY, then RECEIVE INVENTORY IN.

2. If you currently have items in your inventory you will receive a red warning message. This does not mean you can't receive inventory in, but it is warning you that it is not recommended to receive inventory into a consignor account that already has inventory in it because there may be item id conflicts which will cause you to have to re-tag some items.

3. Select the inventory batch which you want to receive and then click "receive selected batch". You can only receive one batch at a time. The items are then transferred into your inventory and the inventory batch is deleted.

That's it! Your inventory should be in your Just Kids Resale account now.



IMPORTANT THINGS TO REMEMBER:


1.
You must be logged in to the tagging system of the account you are wanting to work with. For example when you are wanting to transfer inventory "out" of Rugrats Resale, you must first login to their system using your login and password, transfer the inventory "out", then logout of Rugrats Resale and login to Just Kids Resale in order to receive the inventory "in". You should never be logged into the online system for two different accounts at the same time.


2. You must have the same seller number at both sales.  If this is not the case, work with the sale owners to have the same number assigned to you at both events.


3.  Always transfer items to an account whose inventory list is completely empty (active and inactive inventory). Doing this will ensure that no item id conflicts exist, which means no re-tagging will be necessary. (This is why I state that you should click on the "CHECK/UNCHECK ALL ITEMS" box when transferring your inventory out in step one. It ensures that you always have a clean slate to work with should you frequently transfer inventory back and forth.)


4. Once you create a batch of transferred items, you have 30 days to "receive" those items into your inventory at Just Kids Resale. If you do not receive the batch within 30 days, it will be removed from the server and all information will be lost.


5. Items that are marked as "sold" are not eligible for transfer and do not appear in the list when checking items to transfer.
